Enable WIFI access in your PSP

Would you want to be able to access your iTunes Library from anywhere and change your music files? Now you can do it without depending on a computer set up. All you need is your PSP and a little fine tuning which can cost at around $25 USD. With this you could easily access internet anytime and anywhere through PSP WIFI connection.

There are three components for MAC uses and it requires the following components: 1) Minimum OS x 10.3, 2) software (shareware) called Dot Tunes and 3) 2.0 firmware upgrade on PSP board.

The innovativeness of Dot Tunes provides the capabilities to scrutinize your own iTunes library wherein you can check web pages that shows listing of songs per album or per artist. These web pages can be bookmarked and synced over through internet connection via your PSP WIFi. By this, you can easily browse the internet and download your favorite songs directly from your PSP.

PSP is very particular about where various media is located and which directories it can be placed. For you to listen to the song you are downloading, first you have to save it to music directory in a playlist that already exist. To make room to this exemption, scroll down through your music folder then go to the existing playlist and save your selection. You need to rename the file extension from .m4u to MP4 before it will be recognize by your PSP WIfi.

After doing that you can now save and delete songs to your hearts content, anywhere there maybe WIFi access. You don’t need to worry since almost all places can be access through WIFi. Like coffee shops, malls, entertainment centers and other areas. Since your MAC will serve as the web server, it is very important that you set it up. It is also advisable that you set a password in the PSP WIfi connection.
